THE SPORTS BAR
When the West Almanor Community Club decided to take back management of their restaurant, Almanor West Grill, everyone got excited about the new plans. A sports bar theme was chosen, perfect for the golf course atmosphere. Three big screen televisions and new paint started the scene. Of course the patio is a big attraction with gorgeous views of the course. It is a treasure to enjoy a great meal with friends and family on this beautiful golf course.
A trip out to the west shore for dining means beautiful scenery to welcome you, with a wide array of delicious dishes to follow. This menu offers plenty of choices. and will change things up a bit with some new items in 2025.

THE GOLF COURSE
Some things never change and that is just the way it seems at Lake Almanor West Golf Course; pristine wilderness, tall trees and wildlife soaring overhead or prancing across the greens; it never gets old.
The course is a favorite to many locals and tourists for its immaculate greens and 6,329-yard forest-lined fairways. The 9 hole course offers the full 18 hole experience by offering two distinctly different sets of tee boxes. Julie said golfers really like the playability of the course as well as the challenge.
The course is part of the 615-acre community at Lake Almanor West, where they treat you like family.
Again this season, Julie Rohrs is the Pro Shop Manager and Lars Schaefer is the Golf Course Superintendent/Facilities Manager. The pro shop features top lines of golf wear and accessories for men and women.
