Gluten-Free Crumble Topping for Blueberry Muffins

Bring a special topping to your homemade blueberry muffins recipe. I adapted the recipe to include this gluten-free crumble topping for blueberry muffins. It makes them more of a special treat for special company, a fancy brunch or just for yourself!   

Recipe

1/2 cup gf Jules gluten-free, all purpose flour

1/2 cup brown sugar (packed)

1/4 cup cold, cubed butter

1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1/8 teaspoon  salt

Directions:

Combine dry ingredients In a small bowl, mixing flour, brown sugar, cinnamon and salt with a whisk. 

Slice cold butter into square slices. Cut butter into the flour mixture until it becomes coarse crumbs.

Top the muffins with the crumble topping generously atop the muffin batter using a lined cupcake tin.

Bake muffins as directed; use a toothpick inserted into the muffin to be sure it is done. When the toothpick comes out clean the muffin is done.
