Everyone is bound to love this flavorful dish. The difference between soy sauce and brewed Tamari (or brewed, gluten free soy sauce) is slight. This recipe uses Tamari to make it Gluten Free, but either will do if gluten sensitivity is not a concern..
serves 4 – 6
First make your rice. Place:
2 cups Jasmine rice +
3-3/4 cups water +
1 Tbsp. organic chicken base
in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Bring to a light boil. Reduce heat to simmer. Cover and simmer 20 minutes. Turn off. Set aside
Slice veggies: approximate amounts, mix it up any way you like:
5 green onions, chopped
1 clove garlic ,pressed or chopped finely
1/2 tsp ground ginger
1/2 cup cut carrots, sliced thin, diagonally
3/4 cup celery, sliced thin, diagonally
1 cup chopped cabbage (bagged cabbage for coleslaw is pre-cut and easy!)
1 cup white sprouts
1 cup frest broccoli cut into about 1-1/2″ pieces,
