Ingredients
1 rack of spare ribs
Olive oil
For Rub
1 Teaspoon chili powder
1 Teaspoon paprika
1 Teaspoon dry mustard
1 Teaspoon salt
1 Teaspoon pepper
1/4 Teaspoon
onion powder
1/4 Teaspoon cumin
1/4 Teaspoon celery salt
For Sauce
1 cup maple syrup
1/4 cup grated horseradish
1 1/2 Tablespoons Dijon or Stone Ground mustard
Directions
Mix all rub ingredients in a small bowl until well blended. Rub ribs on all sides with olive oil and then coat with rub mix. Cook low and slow on the grill at 200 degrees for up to 2 hours until tender. Generously brush the ribs with the sauce and grill another ten minutes on each side until sauce is caramelized. Serve hot. You can also bake the rubbed ribs in a 350 degree oven wrapped in foil to cook and then brush with the sauce and grill to finish. r
