The museum has the largest public display of trophies, photos, and yo-yos from the 1920’s.  Located inside the retail store Bird in Hand, 320 Broadway Street, downtown historic Chico, the museum is free to tour and home to the largest yo-yo at 50 inches tall and 256 lbs.  Big-Yo made it into the 1982 Guinness Book of World Records claiming the title of ‘World’s Biggest Working Wooden Yo-Yo.’

The National Yo-Yo Contest celebrates its 25th anniversary on October 6, 7, & 8 at the Center for the Arts, a large indoor stage venue located at Pleasant Valley High School, 1475 East Avenue, Chico.  The best viewings are the finals on Saturday, starting at 4 PM. |
