Blackberry 

Cream Frost

Around here we call it Blackberry Pie & Ice Cream

1/4 cup fresh blackberries (plus a few extras for garnish)

1/2 to 2 tsp. sugar, IF NEEDED, depending on sweetness desired and sweetness of blackberries.

1/4 tsp vanilla extract

12 oz low fat milk

1 tbsp. whipping cream (optional but extra creamy!)

1 cup crushed ice

Whipped cream, prepared ahead

Blend all ingredients until all ice is well blended and mixture is smooth.

Atop each glass, add a dollop of whipped cream with a blackberry on top.

Serves 2 – 3

Nonfat 

Citrus 

Berry Burst

1/4 cup lemonade concentrate

1/4 cup fresh blackberries (plus a few extras for garnish)

8 oz. (1 cup) spring water

1 cup crushed ice.

Lemon or lime slice (optional garnish)

Blend all ingredients until ice is well blended and mixture is smooth.

A lemon or lime slice placed between 2 blackberries on a swizzle stick makes a great garnish.

Serves 2 – 3
